About my art...

My art represents my ongoing artistic investigation of the cultural, sexual, psychological, religious, and political situations of humankind.  These works reveal my effort to explore the depths of the human soul, especially the state of agony.  Materials are selected and used to stimulate a number of emotions in the viewer.  I capture / recreate a specific emotional state that belongs to contemporary society.  The format of each work is determined by its inherent emotional content.

My special sensitivity to the pain of freedom, light and purity-seekers has expanded my work as an artist and catalyst.  I am intellectually interested in the self/world progress, and yet at the same, I attempt to remain naïve, in the best sense of the world.  Ultimately, I believe in people.  I have faith that humanity has the capacity to create more good than evil – that humanity is worthy of respect, care, and love.

Each viewer may find something both different and personal in my work.  What appears initially as abstract form yields up recognizable subject matter and content upon further reflection. I create in each work bona fide emotions, desires, moods and feelings.  I involve the audience in my work, such that each viewer will ultimately reflect upon issues itself in to the self pure form.   In the tradition of humankind, I create a true reality of atomic substance that in the moment of fear, love, hate, and hope becomes as powerful as light.
